They are the denizens of the night. The servants of the devil. The beasts who take on human form in order to hunt for warm blood. Or are they? What are they really? Are they really as bad as we seem to think?
In truth, vampires are victims of a long-held fear. People have often mistaken them for killers since their victims die due to blood loss or, strangely, poisoning. But a vampire only does what he has to do in order to survive. Don’t humans slaughter animals for their food? What makes these humans different from vampires? Aside from the immortality and eternal youth of course.
Now, back to the point in which vampire victims die. Do they really die?or did they embrace undeath? Legends say that vampires give their victims the choice before they bite. They have to make the choice to be either servant or victim. What about you? Which would you choose? Eternal damnation in the eyes of humans or death?
Ponder on that…
Little humans…
